The Smart Trading Book
A structured path from chart reading to a written trading plan
What a Chart Actually Shows
A chart is a record of agreements. Every printed price is a moment when a buyer and a seller accepted the same number, and the shape of the chart is the trail those agreements leave behind. Before studying any pattern, it helps to remember that the line is an outcome, not a cause.
This chapter builds the vocabulary used throughout the book: bid, ask, spread, liquidity, timeframe and session. Each term is introduced with a concrete example so later chapters can lean on it without re-explaining.
